It is the policy of Stanford University to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and its regulations, which prohibit unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin. The Title VI Compliance Officer is the Director of the Diversity and Access Office, who has been appointed to coordinate the University's efforts to comply with the law.
