The control box on the right operates the solenoid valves on the left, and has three modes of operation.
1) Wash opens all valves simultaneously.
2 )XOR closes all other valves before opening a new valve.
3) AND allows more than one valve to be open at a time.
The red lights on the right toggle on and off to indicate the valve position. This level of complexity is easily obtained using microcontroller technology.
