LATINAM 201. Social Change in Latin America Since 1900

(Same as HISTORY 275F, HISTORY 375F, LATINAM 301.) Changes in the social and demographic characteristics of Latin American populations since 1900 and the response of national governments in terms of the evolution of social welfare, health, and educational systems.
