Responsibilities
I am the Luke Blossom Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford university and a member of the Physics Department. I am also a professor at the SLAC National Accelerator Laborator and serve as KIPAC Division Director in the Particle Physics and Astrophysics Directorate I am still occupied with Astro2010: the Astronomy and Astrophysics Decadal Survey which I led. I have also co-chaired the ongoing search for the next SLAC Director. I also led a study of the scientific opportunities in high energy physics, astrophysics and cosmology that would result from the availability of exascale computing.
