Other Interests

I remain interested in the foundations of cosmology and general relativity - the nature of dark matter and dark energy and ways to validate the Kerr metric and the properties of gravitational waves. I am also still engaged in finding new physical effects associated with white dwarfs and neutron stars, especially as pulsars. A new interest is in the properties of the debris of exoplanetary systems - minor planets and asteroids especially when they are expelled into interstellar and intergalactic space. I have eclectic interests in classical physics and am trying to improve my appreciation of particle physics and field theory. Finally I am excited about opportunities in computational astrophysics and cosmology and concerned about the limitations imposed by fundamental physical laws in a "green" future.
