Readings in the reserve text Information Sources in Chemistry (ISIC) are indicated as ISIC-1, ISIC-2, etc., and readings in the required text Using CAS Databases on STN (CAS) are indicated as CAS-1, CAS-2, etc., following the lesson titles. Everyone should at least scan all of the CIS text and pay close attention to any CAS chapters that are assigned. The CAS chapters are also hyperlinked at the appropriate place in the schedule. Readings in ISIC are optional for undergraduates, as are the supplemental readings listed in the hyperlinks at some of the lessons.
