PRE -- preformatted text

The mark-up type PRE is a member of the class MarkUpType. Each object of class PRE is also a member of class MarkUpList.

More general types (whose methods may also apply) :

MarkUpList -- the class of mark-up lists used with hypertext

BasicList -- the class of all basic lists

PRE x -- encloses x in a hypertext PRE item.

The argument x should be a string, possibly containing newlines.

Here is an example.
