Math 51ACE: We also offer a 1-unit S/NC add-on course Math 51ACE, also known as the "ACE session." ACE is designed to provide supplementary support to students who would benefit from strengthening their foundations and getting ahead. Overall the supplementary session offers:

  • additional problem practice for homework and exams
  • extra exam review sessions
  • time with peers to work on problem sets

The ACE session meets in addition to the T/Th discussion sections with the Math 51 TAs, and attendance is required to receive credit. (In order to receive credit -- i.e., an "S" in Math 51ACE -- you must also complete Math 51 and receive a grade equivalent to C- or higher. If you withdraw from Math 51, you must also withdraw from Math 51ACE. These are requirements for all university ACE courses.)

If you're interested, read more here and then please fill out an application as soon as possible (located at the link provided on that page), as spots are limited.
