Pei Yen locates at 11574 feet at the west side of Mt. Jade and is the only shelter before summit. Pei Yen means "stopping cloud" in Chinese and is to desribe its steepness that even cloud can not pass through this point. This also makes it a wonderful place for "cloud-viewing" at sunset. During our stay in Pei Yen, we usually enjoyed the sunset and dinner at the same time.
