TeachingFor me, teaching is emphatically not just an afterthought to research! Given the slow nature of deep research and the even slower cycles of academic journals, teaching has often been a more immediate means to influence minds and change things for the better (and also a more immediately gratifying personal experience!) My courses have always been quite closely aligned with my research expertise. So my classes fall in two broad categories, aimed either at (i) showcasing how quantitative modeling and analytics can improve decision-making in various settings, or (ii) covering the latest theoretical and methodological developments. I have developed and taught several MBA, Ph.D. and undergraduate classes at Stanford, Wharton and MIT on these topics, and wrote several cases and teaching notes. At some point soon, I promise to find the time to post some of the materials online and make them more widely available. In the meanwhile, here is a list of the classes, and what to expect in the near future. (For complete transparency, each course also includes the complete ratings and student feedback, where available.) Fall 2019
