SLAC Field Trip
On May 27, 2022, SUMO took around 30 of its members to the SLAC National Aceelerator Laboratory, formerly called the Stanford Linear Accelerator center. Though the tour was originally planned to be a 15-person tour with several cars, we were able to accommodate 30 people by renting a bus from the Stanford Maguerite. Special thanks to Carmen Lau (the tour coordinator), Chereace Marcellin (DEI coordinator), Natalie Holder (Business Operations Manager), Eric and William (our tour guides), and Nomi for arranging the field trip!
