Choosing Courses
Course Flowchart
Here's a color-coded, interactive flowchart of all the undergraduate math courses at Stanford that highlights dependencies and recommended prerequisites for each class. It was made thanks to Stanford's wonderful Dr. Lernik Asserian.
Pset 0
Everyone's been in the position of planning on taking a class but not quite being sure whether you're ready to tackle its content. The Pset0 project was made for exactly this: a problem set of "minimal difficulty" that might help give an idea of the general background and time requirement a class might demand from you. Note that if you can't solve all the problems that doesn't mean you shouldn't take the course; this is simply a tool to help place expectations of the type of work you'll be doing in the course. With time and effort, you can learn anything!
