Computational Modeling and Analysis
Computational modeling and analysis provide us with the
practical knowledge needed to design therapeutic interventions ranging from
surgery to exercise programs that can aid patients suffering from
osteoarthrisis, ligament injury, fracture, and osteoporosis.
The objective of this project is to develop systems using
multiple video sensors that can accurately model and measure human movements
using a markerless technique. Markerless motion estimation and analysis will
lead to much more accurate diagnosis and treatment of movement-related
disorders.
