Testimonies

We praise God for His work through 24/7 Prayer.  Here are a few testimonies about the event. 

  • I was a couple minutes late for my slot (sorry about that) but it was a blessing to participate! I had a great time worshipping and praying in the room. I liked the journal and the scriptures people posted on the walls. I'm so glad this was organized!

  • Something pervaded the place which I’m not sure I’ve sensed since I first set foot on Stanford in 1971.
     
    I felt a kind of innocence, simplicity, and reverence in the room. A holy, peaceful, desire to know the Lord, to love him, follow him, and honor him. Nothing of that Stanford “edge” of argument, competition, and image. 
     
    The room was set up simply - un-produced, unfussy and "open." The focus was on Jesus Christ. There was a list of all the current ministries on campus. We met one another coming and going from the prayer room. No one was performing, just praying.
     
    I hope it's done every year, in one form or another. What a gift.
