Dahlia 'Moonfire'

This cultivar is single type, bicolored red and orange, and of size M. It was hybridized in The Netherlands, grown and named in 1990 by Chris Sanders of Bridgemere Nurseries, UK, and registered in 2001 by the International Cultivar Registration Authority, Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden, Wisley, Woking, Surrey, UK. It is a cross of unknown parentage.

	leaflets almost entire, some obscure broad teeth, 1-3 leaflets; stems purple, high anthocyanin content
