Jeff Ray is chief executive officer of Ventyx, appointed in June 2012. Ray joins Ventyx from Dassault Systèmes, a $2.4 billion software firm, where he served as executive vice president of geographic operations and was a member of the firm’s executive committee. Ray also served as COO and subsequently CEO of SolidWorks, a global engineering software firm and division of Dassault Systèmes. Earlier he held leadership positions at software companies Progress Software and Compuware Corporation. Ray began his career at IBM, holding numerous sales and management positions over 17 years. Cumulatively, Jeff brings more than 30 years of management experience in the global enterprise software industry.
