Jan 18 Zhiyu Zhang Arithmetic and higher theta series, modularity and L-functions Generating series plays an important role in arithmetic geometry, e.g. theta series and Hasse-Weil zeta functions. Following Feng-Yun-Zhang, we will discuss the theory of higher theta correspondences and examples for U(1), and how to use derived Hitchin stacks to give a uniform construction of (derived) special cycles with correct dimension.
