Singing Career

June, 1984- first album Lonesome journey in which the song Love me has proved to be 'love at first (musical) note' for millions of Jiang Yu Heng fans (including the author).

October, 1984- chosen as the 'Rookie singer most likely to succeed' by 'Golden voice award'.

December, 1984- album Since when. The name Jiang Yu Heng became synonymous to 'Prince of melancholy love songs'.

June, 1985- album I'd rather be drunk.

October, 1985- chosen as one of the final contestants for 'Best male singer' in the 'Golden voice award'.

January, 1986- album Yesterday's dreams.

August, 1987- album Restless heart. To this date many songs in this album are still among the most popular ones at KTVs.

February, 1988- album Love of a life time.

September, 1988- album Toast to the past.

1989- albums Selected songs I, Selected songs II.

June, 1989- album After many years, one of the author's most favorite.

November, 1989- album Songs of the heart I.

December, 1989- album Cry if you feel like it.

May, 1990- album Songs of the heart II.

January, 1991- album One man.

October, 1991- album The journey.

April, 1992- One man was chosen 'Best album' by the 'Golden songs award'.

November, 1992- album Come visit sometimes, Golden songs 1, 2, 3.

December, 1992- participated in the Japanese Songwriters' Association concert in Japan.

January, 1993- participated in the 'Flying to the future' concert in Shenghai, China.

August, 1993- album Don't let me drink alone.

October, 1993- album Timeless golden songs.

January, 1994- album Timeless golden songs II.

1994- album Sing as you please.

1995- album Actually I really do care, which is in a sense a personal account of his singing career.

1996- album A man's heart can get hurt too.

August, 1996- participated in the concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of The World Journal, in Cupertino, California (the author and her husband were in the audience).

1997- album Maps.

1997- album Two eternal Hengs- Jiang Yu Heng and Li Zi Heng.

1999- album Jiang Yu Heng: I love the classics series (Warner Music) (2-CD set).
