We visited Egypt from Nov 15 - Dec 2 2023. We started in Alexandria, drove south to Cairo and then flew on to Luxor. We took a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan and then drove to Abu Simbel.

The primary goals of the trip were to see the Library in Alexandria; pyramids in the Cairo area; Luxor's Valley of the Kings; and Abu Simbel. Those are all remarkable and hit the mark. The Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan was luxurious and relaxing. The trip was arranged by India by Design and executed by Alexander and Roberts. We had two very good guides, Ahmed Said (Alexandria and Cairo) and Nermeena Nabil (Luxor and south).
