Richard Dubois

SLAC/Stanford Senior Staff Scientist Emeritus

I retired from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in June 2024 after 43 years physically at the Lab, 37 of them employed by Stanford. I worked on three ground-breaking experiments, first in particle physics and then in particle astrophysics: SLD, Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope and the Vera Rubin Observatory.

Historically outside of work, I first obsessed with squash, then ultimate frisbee and stained glass work, and lately goaltimate frisbee and kayaking (5 years of Bair Island photos). Since 2000, there has been a lot of travel.
