With her mother's marriage on January 10, 1925, she became the stepdaughter of
Ernest William Traudt3,
or Harold E. (Harry) Gray, as he was then known.
During Betty's childhood the Grays lived at a succession of addresses in Oakland and San Francisco, California. In 1930 they were living at 1303 Fruitvale Avenue, Oakland, in 1933 at 1525 Fruitvale Avenue, Oakland, and in 1934, 1811 27th Avenue, Oakland. In 1940 they were living at 1832 Franklin Street, San Francisco. Betty's aunt and cousin Virginia and Barbara Litteral were living with the family. The Grays moved to Millbrae, San Mateo County, California about 1945, where they lived in a house at 835 Chadbourne Avenue. Betty married, — –, 194– in —, John Edward Clark. He was born April 28, 1920 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, the son of John Edward Clark and Elsie Frieda (Jossi) Clark. Children:
Betty Clark died November 5, 1965 in —, San Mateo County, California. John Clark died February 18, 1980 in Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. |
