Forward
Forward allows you to re-route incoming calls to another Stanford phone. If you need to re-route calls to an off-campus phone, ask your Department IT Contact to order that feature change for you.
Activate Forwarding Using Soft Feature Keys
- Press the CFI soft key.
The cursor flashes in the screen. - Dial the 5-digit phone number where you want calls answered.
- Press the # key.
The asterisk indicator next to the CFI key is solid. All calls are forwarded.
Cancel Forwarding Using Soft Keys
- Press the CFI Feature key.
The asterisk indicator next to the CFI key goes out. Forwarding is cancelled.
Activate Forwarding Using the Dial Pad
- Dial * 7 0.
You hear three beeps, followed by dial tone.
- Dial the 5-digit phone number where you want calls answered.
You hear two beeps and can hang up. All calls are forwarded
Cancel Forwarding Using the Dial Pad
- Dial * 8 0.
You hear two beeps and can hang up. Forwarding is cancelled.
Notes
- To forward calls to your voice mail, University employees and students should use 3 0 0 0 0 as the phone number to which calls will be forwarded. Employees of Stanford Hospital & Clinics, Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, and the School of Medicine should use 3 1 1 1 1 .
