Lauren is a second-year PhD student in the Archaeology track. Her research is broadly concerned with the interaction of heritage, memory, and landscape within post-colonial urban spaces. Prior to studying at Stanford, Lauren received a B.A. summa cum laude in History with a Secondary Field in Archaeology from Harvard, and an M.Phil with Distinction in Archaeology with a focus in Archaeological Heritage and Museums from Cambridge. In the past, she has conducted fieldwork in South Africa and Europe, while her current research is focused on sites in Southeast Asia.
