Amanda is interested in narratives of identity, ethnicity, gender and art, and how those narratives are presented and contested in museums in Central Asia. She's also interested debates over educational practices in Central Asia and the U.S.
Amanda completed a B.A. in Art History at Stanford University and an M.Ed. in Arts and Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has taught in Ukraine, South Korea, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan and the U.S.
