I am a second year Ph.D. student on the archaeology track in Stanford University's Department of Anthropology. My work looks at the effects of the legal regulation of archaeology on the methods archaeologists use and the knowledge they produce. I am particularly interested in heritage management and archaeology in Post-Soviet Europe. I am jointly pursuing a J.D. at Stanford Law School and in 2010 I earned a B.A. and M.S. in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.
