We interviewed 4 individuals to understand their family dynamics and how their immigrant/non-immigrant backgrounds shaped their experiences.
We selected a domain and user group of interest and constructed relevant solutions to primary problems within this domain. We also developed our solution ideas into prototypes.
A short concept video that portrays the mission of roots and key tasks within the app.
We prototyped low-fidelity screens of our app to visualize flows and tested these prototypes with 4 participants.
We built an interactive medium-fidelity prototype to test crucial user interactions and flows with a higher level of UI design and functionality.
We developed high-fidelity interactive prototype with fully refined functionality, visuals, and animations.
We received comprehensive heuristic evaluations to identify usability concerns. We reviewed each concern and synthesized our solutions to improve our design based on usability principles.
We presented our final project to experts from Stanford, industry, and research in the CS 147 Project Expo.
This is a synthesis of our entire project.
