Higher Cathedral Spire

These are photos from a climb done in sometime maybe 1972or 1973 up Northwest Face Higher Cathedral Spire in Yosemite National Park, California, USA. For more information suggest 1964 edition of Steve Roper's A Climber's Guide to Yosemite Valley.

View From the Base

The spire is about the size of the Empire State Building.

Chimney of Horrors

Mark gets a bit higher with a good view back to the ledge.

Ed up in the trees. Spent the night on this ledge and in hammocks.
