Besides their operational role, modern airports are independent enterprises with a mission to meet stakeholders' needs. This section will present the airport as a self-sustaining business entity and will cover priorities for strategic planning and management.

Week 2 - Stanford University

Building on the knowledge gained from your week in Montreal, Stanford faculty will teach courses on long-range strategic planning, business models and how to execute strategy in project management.

Focus Area 5 Foresight, Strategy and Action
This day will give you ideas and insight into how you can approach planning for the future. It will give you a framework for linking strategy development to strategy execution.

This day focuses on existing strategies in business and how to develope new ventures. You will learn how to:
