A FIRST Encounter with Physics

The goal of this project is to explain high-school level trigonometry-based physics using examples from the FIRST Robotics Competition. An understanding of physics is integral to designing and building a good robot, but most high school students do not take physics until their junior or senior year. Moreover, it can be difficult to understand how all the theory of sliding blocks on frictionless inclines actually applies to robot design. This document is an attempt to change that.
