The material in this database was collected by myself for a research project organized by Wolfgang Szaivert and funded by the National Bank of Austria from 1989 to 1996. The published version of this project (W. Szaivert & R. Wolters, Löhne, Preise, Werte, Darmstadt 2005) is not based on this database. All references in the database were drawn from freely available published works.
