Some photos from the Charlottesville, Virginia, area; courtesy of the
Cooling Flows
conference. Actually, these all come from the
Shenandoah National Park area
of the Blue Ridge mountains.
A couple of swift shoves, and I could have enjoyed a pleasant drive
back to the hotel in peace and quiet. They're just lucky RMJ had the
car keys.
Those mountains are clearly green.
Something apart from trees!
The intrepid Englishmen abroad. Not pictured - the effects of SWA's
sun cream, which must have been barbecue pork flavour, given its
amazing ability to attract every insect within a 50-mile radius.
Some more hills and trees.
