My musical life
I'm a very active amateur musician, playing a variety of woodwind instruments,
particularly Bassoon, Saxophone, and early woodwinds, such
as Recorder, Krummhorn, and Dulcian (Renaissance bassoon).
Bassoon
For those who care about such things, I play a Fox 101 bassoon.
Bassoon teachers: in the past, I've studied with Ron Haroutunian (Boston
Ballet, New Hampshire Symphony).
Saxophone
I play soprano (E.M. Winston Pro 2000), alto (Yanagisawa "bronze" A992),
and tenor (Selmer Mark VII) saxes.
I have no background in jazz, so my focus is on classical sax playing.
I last studied saxophone with Kenneth Radnofsky.
Early music
I play Mollenhaur Renaissance recorders. I'm not currently involved with any group.
