LYNN’S ILLUSTRATED SPAIN/MOROCCO JOURNAL
MAY 2002
INTRODUCTION
The main purpose of our trip was to visit our niece Corinna Ritter (now Brower), in a small Berber village in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. She had been assigned there the last two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer and, after extending her stay, had less than a year to go before returning to the United States. Since we had never been to Morocco or Southern Spain, we took the opportunity to tour both Andalusia (the formerly "Moorish" stronghold within Spain) and several major tourist destinations in Morocco in addition to visiting Corinna. Lynn's journal entries of our trip have been edited and illustrated with Phil's photographs. The table below allows you to skip directly to the location that might be of interest, or to read the entire journal in order by starting at day 1. Just click on the day you wish to access.
