Note: At least two Rootsweb World Trees (e.g. http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=lkcopelanier&id=I4284 ) show the senior Peter Hamman as the son of George Adam Hamman (b. 1714 in Kurnbach, Baden). However the y-chromosome test suggests that this is not the case, as there is a match to a Hamman whose ancestors came later from Lachen, and a non match to a descendant of George Adam Hamman (through the son Johann Phillip Hamman).
