Note: some online trees show Jacob M. Baughman as the son of a John Bachman, b. 1789 in York Co., PA. (and in at least one tree descended from a John Frederick Bachman, b. 1727 and married to a Eva Maria Unger). It appears more likely that John was the father of a different Jacob M. Baughman who was born 9 Mar 1812, but there may be some connection.
