Review sessions will be held each Monday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, starting on January 23rd, in the Lucas Learning Center. Directions to the Lucas Center can be found here. Once there, go one floor down the outdoor stairwell (pictured on the directions page), and go in the first room on your left. (You should be able to see us through the glass wall.)
During each review session, we will review some of the material that has been presented in the past week, and then take any questions that students have about the class or about the homework. (Homeworks will be due on Wednesdays, so make sure to work on them over the weekend if you'd like help at the review session.)
There are some links on the main website (under “Links”) that may help you study. http://www.med.harvard.edu/aanlib/cases/caseM/mr1_t/028.html in particular may be very useful. It has T1, PD, and T2 images that you can page through, with anatomy labels that you can toggle on and off.
For additional insight and understanding of fourier transforms and k-space, this may be helpful. This is the page that we discussed during review session 5. (You have to login to see the visuals, but if you don't feel like registering you can find login credentials on augment.)
If anyone is curious about trans-cranial doppler imaging, this website has a lot of information.
This site may help you with studying anatomy of the head and neck.
If anyone else has suggestions for helpful websites, please let us know!
Second Review Session. These slides are mostly copy pasted from the lecture slides, but there is a flowchart for identifying image modality on slide 3. (Proton density images were added to this chart after the review session.)
Third Review Session This session reviewed Ultrasound, and many aspects of anatomy with a focus on large structure, vascular supply, and vascular regions. The two website that Diana recommended as study aids during the review are Rochester page and Harvard page.
The fourth review session will focus on midterm preparation and review. HereThe sagittal anatomy review slides are here.
Fourth Review Session This review session is meant to help people focus their studying for the midterm
