| Southwest Road Trip /the back wheels were spinning so badly, we had to abandon the attempt of getting across. We would have managed to get across if the wash was dry or if we had mud tires or if Dave knew how to use A-Trac, which he knows how to use now. We decided to take the 60 mile loop on Hartnet Road to the Caineville Wash Road to Hwy 24 (approx 2-hrs). Hartnet Road to the Caineville Wash Road is easily accessible with high ground clearance vehicles. Vehicle travel in this area is light, so much so that drivers are asked to be prepared for the unexpected. If you have problems, help may not arrive for hours or even days, depending on the time of year. |
