| Southwest Road Trip /Lockett Meadow to Inner Basin trail - we had a difficult time finding the dirt road that leads up to Lockett Meadow from HWY 89. After a 4-mile steep drive up the somewhat grated road to the meadow, we came to endless grove of Aspens - though we didn't get the fantastic fall colors we were expecting. It was freezing up close to 11,000ft, but that didn't deter us from hiking the trail lined by Aspens. The place was truly amazing. |
