| Random pics from Addis Abeba and Sululta /I love where my parents live. Surrounded by mountains as high (if not higher) than the Sierras, rolling green hills, and the farms and cattle - it's truly peaceful. We heard Hyenas laughing every night and sometimes the Hyenas snuck in the compound and roam the neighborhood. The area is less developed but not for long. Anyway, Dave and I decided to climb one of the mountains near by, where the Church of St. Mary is located at the top. How did we do? The elevation at Legatafo is 6700ft or higher - that's at the base of the mountain. We haven't exercised in three weeks. You do the math. |
