Kailas Vodrahalli

Hi! I'm Kailas. I'm currently doing my PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. James Zou. I am supported by a Stanford Graduate Fellowship and an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.

Previously, I did my undergrad at UC Berkeley where I worked on various projects with Prof. Jitendra Malik, Prof. Anant Sahai, and Prof. Jonathan Ragan-Kelley.

I am interested in the human aspects of machine learning, and in particular, theory and general principles for designing algorithms for human interaction. I have explored these problems in various contexts including medicine and, most recently, VLMs and LLMs. Check out more about me here and see my latest research here.
