Instructions for May 16 Class

The class will be divided into groups of four:

Everybody reads the Introduction from Berman et al.

Groups are: (sorry about this format -- easiest way since I don't have a class list handy)

Key ideas to be discussed:

1. How do reform efforts at the site address the needs of English Language Learners?

2. Are there any aspects of this school that could be implemented in your current teaching environment? what kind of effort would that take?

3. What issues does the case raise in your mind?

Please bring some notes to start the discussion in jigsaw project format on Tuesday.
