Problem-Based Units
What is a Problem-Based Unit?
These units are based on the view that meaningful learning is attained by the use of theories and information in the context of realistic problems. Although problems at this site vary a lot, they share the following commonalities:
1. A problem setting is described;
2. Resources are provided to help you address the problem;
3. You will join a threaded discussion of the problem to stimulate ideas and approaches;
4. You will develop a solution to the problem (which will remain posted at this site for X days?)
