I was born and raised in Argentina, and emigrated to the United States in 1977. I have worked since then as a scientist at
Stanford University
in the laboratory of
Phil Hanawalt. To see my professional page click

In my spare time I enjoy good friends, long walks, travel to all corners of the world, family, gardening, knitting and crochet, crossword puzzles, cooking and reading, not necessarily in that order.
Genealogy:
I am attempting to construct the Spivak,
Schnir, and
Mill (or Mil) family trees. My ancestors emigrated from villages in the Ukraine to Argentina in the early 1900's.
