I. Intent of Tokoro
- Tokoro is designed to offer a virtual-classroom alternative to in-class learning that is equally comprehensive and much more convenient and accessible to the user.
- The motivation of the website is to increase the efficiency of language and culture learning without compromising the effectiveness of the teaching style or the enjoyment of the study itself.
- Interactivity: Tokoro strives to maintain a high level of interactivity between the user and the subject material through the incorporation of multimedia as opposed to the user simply reading grammar notes off of the page.
- Convenience: Tokoro will offer all of its learning material through the web and provide personal feedback through online tutors by means of Internet communication.
- Effective Teaching: Tokoro will use up-to-date teaching methods and present its learning material in an entertaining way so that the user is actively engaged in the learning process. Outside resources and learning material will be constantly updated to reflect improvements in presentation and content.

- Convenience
- Improved ability to learn
