Language Lessons

This page was created on 9 May, 2007.

Most language lessons are supplemented by a Lesson Quiz to test your knowledge and understanding of the lesson material and a Vocabulary List. Please verify your understanding of the current lesson material before moving on to the next lesson! You should be able to score a 100% on each quiz before moving on. The Japanese language is cumulative so later lessons will expect you to understand previously introduced material. It's difficult to remember everything at once, so it is very important that you continually go back and review past lessons and past vocabulary lists. You'll thank yourself later for it!

Each language lesson is also followed by an assignment which will often involve interaction through e-mail with a Japanese language instructor who will give you feedback based on your performance on the assignment. Responses will arrive within a few days. This service is an integral part of the interactivity of Tokoro and is provided free of charge.

If you have any questions about the lesson material at any time, contact a Japanese language instructor at: eunnah@stanford.edu. A response will arrive within a few days.
