Katakana is one of three components of the Japanese writing system along with hiragana and kanji. Katakana is the simplest of these scripts and is most often used for transcription of foreign words taken from other languages. You can practice writing katakana using the sheets provided below which have been borrowed from Tokyo Mokyo!
