Dear Resident Fellows:

I write you regarding the Resident Tutor program.

Resident tutors in the following subjects are selected from the group of tutors who have been hired by the UAC as subject tutors: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics. While in the past the UAC and the Writing Center have worked together to facilitate the entire selection process, the Writing Tutor selection process is now handled entirely by the Writing Center.

This year, as with the RA, RCC, and HPAC processes, the entire selection process will be handled through SunAppSys. You will see that you can access an entire list of applicants, or you can look at only the applicants who have expressed an interest in interviewing with you. In other words, you are free to recruit from the entire pool of applicants.

Since the process will be done entirely on SunAppSys, you will now administer the interview dates, times and invitations through SunAppSys. We will not be setting up interviews, nor will we be providing hard copies of any application materials. If you have indicated that you would like me to assign you a tutor and forego the interview process, please confirm this by return e-mail.
