Here's what YOU need to do if you're applying to be a Row RA!
Step #1: The Application
Turn in your application on Friday April 2, 2004, by 1:00 PM Flo-Mo Lounge.
Step #2: Group Process
Sign Up by: Monday, April 5, 2004, 2:00 pm
Go to the Row Office and sign up for the New Applicant Row Group Process
The Row Office is located at: 584 Mayfield Ave. The office is behind Grove Mayfield.
Open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Monday, April 5, 2003, 7:00PM-9:30 pm, Meyer Library Rooms 182, 184, 220, Re-Applicants ONLY
Tuesday, April 6, 2003, 7:00PM-9:30 pm, Meyer Library Rooms 182, 184, 220- Co-Ops/Theme Houses
Wednesday, April 7, 2003, 7:00PM-9:00 pm, Meyer Library Rooms 182, 184, 220- Self-Ops
Thursday, April 8, 2003, 7:00PM-9:00 pm Meyer Library Rooms 182, 184, 220- Self-Ops
Note: All applicants must sign up at the Row Office for the Row group process. NO email or phone sign up requests will be accepted. You have until Monday April 5, 2004 at 2:00 pm to sign up for your group process. Email Nate Boswell at grak@stanford with any questions. To be considered you MUST sign up for this process. At the end of each Group Process session, all applicants will be given a Row House Interview Preference Sheet. Each house will also turn in their applicant preferences and then the matching process begins for applicants who will be moved on to steps #3 and #4.
Step #3: Prospective RA Meeting with Row Supervisor
Meeting Date: Wednesday, April 13, 2004, 9:00 PM, Breer Library
If you get a house interview you must meet with Augie Galvan, Assistant Director for Row Residential Staff or Nate Boswell. To be considered for a position you must attend this meeting.
Step #4: House Interviews
Interview Dates: April 14 through April 25, 2004
For those who received house interviews after Step #2 and attended the meeting in Step #3, Row house interviews will occur during this time period.
Please Note: The individual houses will set up the interviews. The present RA in that Row house will be your contact person and will generally be in touch via email.
FAQs:
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Nope. Just be prepared to be yourself.
Q: What happens if I'm interested in a certain type of house (ex: Co-Ops) but I can't make it on the designated night?
A: You can sign up for another Group Process session but you MUST attend one session.
Q: What if I can't make any of these nights?
A: You will not receive an interview. In order to be eligible to for an RA position on the Row you must attend one of the group process sessions.
