Staff hiring season is upon us. Our goal is to make this as smooth and error-free a process as we can. The purpose of this memo is to preview the process for you. You will receive specific information about the applicants interested in working with you after the group and first individual interview rounds. Relevant Timeline (RF attention required)

Friday April 2 HPAC Applications due at noon
Saturday April 3 Mandatory Group Interview
Thursday April 15 End of Individual Interviews at the UAC
Saturday April 17 Distribution of HPAC applicant packets to RFs
Monday April 19 RFs indicate interview choices online by NOON
Tuesday April 20 RF interviews with HPAC applicants begin
Tuesday April 27 RF interviews with HPAC applicants end
Wednesday April 28 RF preference lists to UAC by NOON(online/bypaper)
Wednesday April 28 RFs notified of HPAC selected by midnight
Thursday April 29 HPACs notified of placements at 9am
Thursday April 29 HPAC acceptances of positions due by 4pm
Thursday April 29 RFs free to notify rest of staff about HPAC selection by 5pm

Materials you will receive from UAC
- List of applicants expressing an interest in working with you
- Complete application package for each applicant, including group and individual interview evaluations
- Guide to materials in the application package
- Resident Fellow final preference list (list only those who you would accept)

Please be aware that ALL applications (profiles and essay questions) will be on line for you to view. If you would like to browse supplementary materials (evaluations, transcripts, paper recs) for students not on your lists, they will be on file at the UAC.
