The Output dataset includes several options concerning the listed output file (the ".out" file), an option for calculating thermal transport properties, and an optional list of parameters to be saved in the special file (the ".plt" file) for data plotting.    The top part of the screen concerns listed output energy and composition units, intermediate output options, and thermal transport property calculations.    The bottom part of the screen is devoted to a parameter list for the plot file.    Use the Activity tab to execute the input file (the ".inp" file) and to view the output files.

OPTIONS:

• Energy Units  There are two choices for energy units, SI units (default) and calories.   With the siunits selection, the output energy unit is Joule and the pressure unit is bar.   With the calories selection, the energy unit is calorie, the pressure unit is atmosphere, and rocket parameters are in engineering units.
• Product Composition Units  The user has the choice of having the output composition as mole fractions (default) or mass fractions.
• Shortened Printout  Listing includes the input file, error messages, and final table.   Other information, such as atom ratios and a list of species being considered during the calculations is suppressed.
• Intermediate Output  Print information useful in debugging the iteration process for obtaining the equilibrium composition.   User selects any of the first 8 points for this additional printout where points correspond to columns in the output listing.   See NASA RP-1311, part II, 1996, pp. 30-32.
• Calculate Thermal Transport Properties  Include viscosity and two sets of values for specific heat, thermal conductivity, and Prandtl number in the listed output.   The two sets are based on the assumption of an equilibrium reaction contribution or no reaction contribution (frozen composition).
• Trace Species Value  CEAgui will print compositions of species with mole or mass fractions greater than or equal to this assigned value.   When this option is used, the criteria for equilibrium composition convergence are tighter to insure accuracy of the trace species.   Mole or mass fractions are printed in E-format.   Without this option, species composition values less than 5.0E-06 are not printed

SELECTION OF PROPERTIES FOR PLOT FILE

The user may choose to save values for selected output parameters in the ".plt" file.   These data are stored in columnar rather than horizontal form.   The columns of numerical data are in E-format and stored in the order of the parameters in the Select a Property list.   No alphabetic information is stored in this file.   The values are in the same units as in the ".out" file.   A maximum of 100 values is allowed in each column.   For mole or mass fractions (equilibrium only), the full name of each species must be typed exactly as it appears in the Reactant Selector screen.   Shock tube parameters are not available for this option.

The user clicks on each desired property from one of the four lists below in order followed by the Add button.   A selection may be removed with the Remove button.   Species mole or mass fractions will be given in the last columns.   These names are typed in horizontally and separated with a blank in the box at the bottom of the screen.   The composition values will be in the same order as listed.
